ohhhhhh my goodness......i hit upon your wonderful page quite by accident and it was WONDERFUL to see pleasure island again!!!! it brought tears to my eyes! it was one of my fondest childhood memories when we would take the yearly trek all the way to wakefield (from everett!) but it seemed to take forever! where actually was pleasure island located? what is there now? i remember the the ride-em cars and the slanted house where the water ran UP instead of down. thank you for such wonderful memories. i have to go e-mail my sisters now, they will be thrilled!
