I fondly remember the place. My friends and I would walk the RR tracks down to Pleasure Island from my childhood home on Vernon Street. I wish that I still had souvenirs from the place. Do you remember the Crooked House? Well, after it closed, I would baby-sit for several friends of my parents or neighbors and one of them panelled their basement with the gray, barn board looking wood that was salvaged from the place.
