I was a member of the Black Barons Drum and Bugle Corps of Malden - I recall marching in exhibition in 1959 at Pleasure Island - we were provided free tickets and explored the park - it truly was, 'The Disneyland of the North". What a day, what a place. I do believe that, today, the place would be flourishing.
