Ann Marsh

My Dad and Uncle help build Pleasure Island. I remember them speaking of the work they did in building the crooked house. It brought my family many days of fun. Thank you for the nostalgia.

This is such a treat. Everything was so different then. The park meant a lot to us since my Dad and Uncle worked on the construction. They talked over the years on how it was building a crooked house. My Grandmother was a seamstress so my Uncle did know how to sew and volunteered to do the sewing for them. We enjoyed going there as a family. In those days everything amazed us. Panning for gold, the crooked house, etc. Thank you for bringing us back in time.
