The P.I. story is very interesting to me as I roamed the fields and forests of the area with childhood friends before it was built.

Actually ,our old "fort" was even torn down because of the park. You can imagine my,(friends)excitement being there on opening night!

I remember it like yesterday...I spent a great deal of time there during the 10 years it operated and continued to go there even after it closed.

I'm living in Maine full-time now but still get to Wakefield once a month or so.
